ZURICH, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX) suspended a small number of traders in connection with its $2.85 billion writedowns, its chief executive said on Tuesday.

"It's really a small group of traders, it's not a large number but we're not going to quote a specific number," Brady Dougan said on a conference call, when asked how many traders had been suspended. (Reporting by Sam Cage)
