India's Cipla gets FDA nod for granisetron HCL
MUMBAI, March 3 (Reuters) - Indian drugmaker Cipla Ltd (CIPL.BO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for granisetron hydrochloride tablets, the regulator's Web site showed.
The drug, a generic version of Roche Laboratories Inc's Kytril tablets, is indicated for prevention of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiation in the treatment of cancer. (Reporting by Rina Chandran; Editing by Mark Williams)
