Ranbaxy gets tentative U.S. nod for dementia drug
MUMBAI, Dec 28 (Reuters) - Indian drug maker Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd (RANB.BO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has received tentative approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for galantamine hydrobromide oral solution, the regulator's Web site showed.
The drug, a generic version of Razadyne, is indicated in the treatment of mild to moderate dementia. (Reporting by Rina Chandran; Editing by John Mair)
