Bachem gets manufacturing license in Japan

Bachem production facilities licensed for the manufacture of
APIs for the Japanese market

Bubendorf/Basel, Switzerland, February 4, 2008 - Bachem (SWX:
BANB) announced today that the Japanese Ministry of Health,
Labour and Welfare (MHLW) has granted the company a
manufacturing license in conformity with the new regulations.
