Australia's Cochlear sees profit up 13 pct in FY09

SYDNEY, July 14 (Reuters) - Australian hearing implant maker Cochlear Ltd (COH.AX) expects its net profit after tax in fiscal 2009 to rise by 13 percent to A$103.5 million ($81.2 million), the company said on Tuesday.

Core earnings were seen up 12 percent to A$137.7 million. ($1=1.275 Australian Dollar) (Reporting by James Thornhill; Editing by Mark Bendeich)
