XenoPort, Glaxo restless legs drug meets main goals in trial

Feb 28 (Reuters) - Biopharmaceutical company XenoPort Inc (XNPT.O) and British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline (GSK.L) (GSK.N) said its drug to treat restless legs syndrome met the main goals in a late-stage trial.

The companies plan to file for marketing approval for the drug, XP13512, in the third quarter. (Reporting by Jennifer Robin Raj in Bangalore; Editing by Pratish Narayanan)
