Caraco Pharma gets FDA nod to market allergy drug

Jan 14 (Reuters) - Generic drugmaker Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd (CPD.A) said U.S. health regulators approved for marketing its generic over-the-counter drug for relief of allergy and hives.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Caraco Pharma's abbreviated new drug application for Cetirizine Hydrochloride chewable tablets for children, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Anant Vijay Kala in Bangalore)
