India Nalco sells alumina at $241.3/tonne - source

BHUBANESWAR, India, July 10 (Reuters) - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (Nalco) (NALU.BO) has sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina at $241.3 a tonne, free on board, a senior company official said on Friday.

The buyer was a Swiss company, said the official, who has direct knowledge of the deal but did not want to be identified.

The tender that closed on Thursday received six bids.

Nalco last sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina at $227.64 a tonne on April 8, the source had said. (Reporting by Jatindra Dash Editing by John Mair)
