Siam Cement to build $3.5-4.0 bln Vietnam plant
BANGKOK, March 20 (Reuters) - Siam Cement <SCC.BK, Thailand's top industrial conglomerate, said on Thursday it would join Vietnamese firms to build a $3.5-4.0 billion petrochemical plant in Vietnam.
Siam Cement subsidiaries would own a 71 percent stake in the plant and the Vietnamese firms would have the rest, SCC said in a letter to the Thai stock exchange. ($1=31.24 Baht) (Reporting by Viparat Jantraprap; Editing by Michael Battye)
