Finland's Wartsila Q2 profits beat expectations
HELSINKI, July 24 (Reuters) - Finnish engineering group Wartsila's (WRT1V.HE: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) second-quarter profits beat forecasts, helped by strong demand for its power plants and services offering.
April-June operating profit grew 67 percent from a year ago to 122 million euros ($191.9 million), and beat a consensus of 114 million in a Reuters poll of 13 analysts, but was within the range of estimates.
The company repeated it expects its full-year sales to grow 25 percent, with the operating profit margin at above 11 percent. (Reporting by Azer Sawiris)
