principally engaged in investment holding, the shipment of oil
and cargoes along the PRC coast, international container and
cargo shipment.

The calculation of share earnings is based on the weighted
average of 3,365.51 million shares in issue during the year vs
3,326.00 million shares in issue during the last year.

Total dividend for the year is 0.50 yuan vs 0.3 yuan.

The consensus (mean) forecast, according to a poll by
Reuters, was for net profit of 5.7 billion yuan for the year.
