- JAPAN TO INVEST $6.5 BLN IN PERTAMINA REFINERY

Indonesia's state oil and gas firm PT Pertamina said it will cooperate with Mitsui Oil Exploration Co, Itochu Co (8001.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (7011.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) on three oil and liquefied natural gas refineries with a total investment of $6.5 billion.

- SEMEN TONASA INVESTS $315 MLN TO BUILD NEW PLANT

Indonesia's state owned cement producer, PT Semen Tonasa, a unit of PT Semen Gresik Tbk (SMGR.JK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), said it will build a new $315 million plant starting in October, which will help to increase production to 3.48 million tonnes.
