KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 (Reuters) - Shares of Malaysian energy services firm Ramunia Holdings Bhd (RAMU.KL) fell as much as six percent on Wednesday after the company said it had lost a 2.2 billion ringgit ($677.5 million) pipeline contract in India.

At 0103 GMT, Ramunia shares fell 4.62 percent at 1.24 ringgit ($0.382). It had opened at 1.26 ringgit. Ramunia said late on Tuesday India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp Ltd (ONGC.BO), which awarded the contract earlier this year, withdrew it after Ramunia failed to provide a bank guarantee by the May 15 deadline.
