Spain's Acciona wins Canadian wind power deal

MADRID, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Spanish renewable energy operator Acciona (ANA.MC) said on Wednesday it had won a contract to install a wind energy park in New Brunswick, Canada which will involve an investment of 69 million euros ($101 million).

The park at Lameque will consist of 33 generators with a total generation capacity of 49.5 megawatts.

Acciona will build the plant and sign a contract to operate it for 25 years while the generators will be built at Acciona's plant in the United States. (Reporting by Joe Ortiz; editing by Rory Channing)
