Iberdrola officially launches Dos Pueblos wind farm

 25/03/2008: IBERDROLA RENEWABLES cuts ribbon at Dos Pueblos
wind farm in Guadalajara, Spain
 
- At the end of 2007 it boasted 7,704 MW of installed clean
energy capacity around the world, of which 1,881 are located in
the Castile-La Mancha region
- Castile-La Mancha regional government energy chief attended
the ceremony, along with the company's regional managers and the
mayors of Miedes de Atienza and Bañuelos.
- The wind farm, in operation since December, cost EUR24 million
and will produce enough energy in a year to meet the needs of
some 70,000 consumers.
IBERDROLA RENEWABLES today officially launched its Dos Pueblos
wind farm, straddling the municipalities of Miedes de Atienza
and Bañuelos in the Spanish province of Guadalajara, and which
cost EUR24 million.
