BRUSSELS, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Striking luggage handling companies stopped all traffic at Brussels' international airport on Monday, a union spokesman said, adding that there was no end in sight for the industrial action.

"All flights have been cancelled," said Rik Vermeersch from the BBTK union.

A spokesman for the airport was not available to comment immediately but told Belgian media earlier on Monday that planes were no longer taking off.

Workers at the airport services company started a 24-hour strike on Sunday evening, protesting about pay and working conditions, a spokeswoman for airport services company Aviapartner said. (Reporting by Antnonia van de Velde; Writing by Julien Ponthus; Editing by Louise Ireland)
