Egypt's South Valley wins concrete contract
CAIRO, Aug 18 (Reuters) - South Valley Cement (SVCE.CA) has won a 189 million Egyptian pound ($35.4 million) contract to supply concrete to Alexandria Construction for the Madinaty project east of Cairo, the company said on Monday.
Alexandria Construction is a unit of the Talaat Moustafa Group (TMGH.CA), the prime contractor for Madinaty, a large residential complex at a site in the desert.
South Valley Cement said in a statement it had already started supplying the concrete to the project. (Writing by Jonathan Wright; Editing by Paul Bolding)
