GENERAL AND POLITICS

- Bulgaria will invest two billion euros ($2.94 billion) in the water sector in the next several years to improve outdated infrastructure and cut water shortages, Construction Minister Asen Gagauzov said (Monitor, 24 Chasa, Duma).

BUSINESS

DNEVNIK - Former owner of insolvent mill Kremikovtzi KMKV.BB, Valentin Zahariev, said he will present a restructuring plan for the mill to creditors.

- Bulgaria's maritime operator Navibulgar, owned by German-led group KG Maritime Shipping said it was considering buying two 200,000-tonne ships (Dnevnik, Klasa, Monitor).

DNEVNIK - Bulgarian grain producers association is holding talks with Italian millers about the export of quality Bulgarian grain to Italy, the chairman of the association said.

- Over 5.2 million shares of the Bulgarian investment company Chimimport CHIM.BB were sold in a single deal on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange yesterday for a total of 44.1 million levs ($33.36 million) (Pari, Monitor, Klasa).
