Portucel 9-month net profit gains 1.2 percent

LISBON, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Portuguese paper and pulp maker Portucel's (PTI.LS) nine-month net profit rose 1.1 percent to 117.3 million euros, the company said on Thursday.

Portugal's largest paper and pulp maker posted a 1.8 percent rise in revenues to 856.5 million euros while earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) dropped 10.6 percent to 218.8 million euros.

Analysts surveyed by Reuters had forecast net profit of 102.2 million euros.
