UPDATE 1-Peru says May gold and copper output up, zinc down

 LIMA, July 6 (Reuters) - Peru saw its copper, gold and silver outputs rise
in May from the same month a year ago, while production of zinc and other
minerals fell, the mining ministry said Monday.
 Peru, a leading global metals exporter, is the world's top producer of
silver, No. 2 in copper and zinc, and ranks sixth in gold.
 Output figures are as follows:

 Zinc       122,432 tonnes           -8.59 pct
 Gold       15,607,879 fine grams     5.77 pct
 Silver     325,060 fine kg           4.60 pct
 Lead       25,885 tonnes            -9.18 pct
 Iron       434,386 tonnes           -5.66 pct
 Tin        3,066 tonnes             -9.81 pct
 Molybdenum 852 tonnes               -36.51 pct
