Chile generator Colbun signs $400 mln credit

SANTIAGO, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Chile's second-biggest power generator Colbun COL.SN said on Wednesday it signed a $400 million, five-year syndicated loan to help it refinance debt with mostly foreign creditors.

Colbun said in a statement that the loan was led by ABN-AMRO, BBVA, Banco de Chile/Citigroup, Itau and Santander and also included Rabobank, ING, BNP-Paribas, Calyon, HSBC, Bank of Nova Scotia, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, UFJ and JP Morgan Chase.
