Potash CEO says fertilizer prices not near peak
(All figures in U.S. dollars unless noted)
WINNIPEG, Manitoba, June 11 (Reuters) - Strong demand for food around the world means Potash Corp of Saskatchewan (POT.TO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) faces "the greatest period of growth" in its history over the next five years, the company's chief executive said on Wednesday.
"We have a lot of pricing power. We're nowhere near peak pricing," Bill Doyle told the RBC Capital Markets conference in Toronto.
"We clearly aren't experiencing any demand destruction," he said, noting soaring grain prices have supported fertilizer hikes. (Reporting by Roberta Rampton; Editing by Scott Anderson)
