US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St falls early as energy shares weigh

NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell at the open on Thursday as a stronger U.S. dollar weighed on commodity prices, hitting stocks of natural resource and energy companies.

The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI was down 15.19 points, or 0.15 percent, at 10,276.07. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX was down 2.32 points, or 0.21 percent, at 1,096.19. The Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC was down 1.31 points, or 0.06 percent, at 2,165.59. (Editing by Padraic Cassidy)
