Northwest says exec Cohen to leave next month
NEW YORK, May 13 (Reuters) - Northwest Airlines Corp (NWA.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Tuesday Neal Cohen, its executive in charge of strategy and international operations and the chief of its regional airline unit, will leave the company on June 16.
Cohen, 48, who was previously Northwest's chief financial officer, said he was looking to pursue opportunities outside the airline industry.
Northwest agreed last month to be bought by rival Delta Air Lines (DAL.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) in a deal worth more than $3 billion.
