West Fraser to idle Quesnel finger joint mill
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 17 (Reuters) - West Fraser Timber Co (WFT.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) will idle production indefinitely at its Quesnel, British Columbia, finger joint mill because of weak market conditions, a company official said on Thursday.
The mill has an annual production capacity of 15 million board feet. The facility, which was already operating on only a one-shift basis, will be idled next month. (Reporting Allan Dowd, editing by Rob Wilson)
