Finmeccanica-DRS deal includes $90 mln breakup fee
LONDON, May 13 (Reuters) - A break-up fee of $90 million is included in Finmeccanica's (SIFI.MI: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) deal to buy U.S. defence technology firm DRS Technologies (DRS.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), an executive from the Italian defence and aerospace company told analysts on Tuesday.
EADS' (EAD.PA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) North American chief last week said it was seriously examining bidding for DRS, which is considered an attractive mid-tier player in the U.S. defence market.
