S.Korea Samsung wins joint $846 mln UAE order
SEOUL, March 21 (Reuters) - South Korean trading and construction company Samsung Corp (000830.KS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has won a joint order worth $846 million to build an underground driveway in the United Arab Emirates, the company said on Friday.
Samsung's share of the order represents 55 percent of the total amount, the company said.
Samsung and Saif Bin Darwish, a local construction company, plan to start the project from May this year and to complete it by the end of 2010, a Samsung official added.
