S.Korea's Daewoo wins $645 mln ship order

SEOUL, Dec 28 (Reuters) - Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. (042660.KS), the world's third-largest shipbuilder, said on Friday it has won a 606.1 billion won ($644.8 million) order to build a drillship for an unidentified company in Oceania.

Daewoo said in a filing with the Korea Exchange that it finalised the contract, which is part of the combined $3 billion order announced on Thursday to build four ships for three different companies. [ID:nSEL000250]
