SEOUL, Nov 16 (Reuters) - The following is a summary of major South Korean newspapers on Monday prepared by Reuters in Seoul. Reuters has not checked the stories and does not guarantee their accuracy.

MAEIL BUSINESS NEWSPAPER

The International Chamber of Commerce on Friday ordered International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC) to sell its entire 70 percent stake in Hyundai Oilbank, South Korea's smallest refiner, to Hyundai Heavy (009540.KS) at a 25 percent discount due to IPIC breaching a 2003 contract between shareholders.

LG Group said Sunday that LG Display (034220.KS), LG Chem (051910.KS) and LG Innotek (011070.KS) would invest a additional combined 8 trillion won ($6.92 billion) by 2018 in LCD-related production facilities in Paju, north of Seoul, on top of a previously announced 9 trillion won investment.

KOREA ECONOMIC DAILY

The National Pension Service (NPS) is planning to invest more in buildings in major cities worldwide, including New York, Paris, Sydney and Hong Kong, after it purchased HSBC's (HSBA.L) London headquarters last week, said Kim Sun-jung, head of the fund's operation devision.

JOONGANG ILBO

The Presidential Council for Future and Vision will announce a stricter abortion ban on Nov. 25 to deal with the nation's low birthrate, said a government source. Abortions are technically illegal in South Korea but tolerated.

Retail giant Lotte Group is considering building a brewery in the planned new administrative centre of Sejong City to become the country's third beer company, according to a group source. ($1=1156.3 Won)
