Hyundai Eng signs $675 mln Libya power plant deal

SEOUL, Dec 18 (Reuters) - South Korea's Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co (000720.KS) said on Tuesday it had signed a 630.4 billion won ($675.4 million) deal to build a power plant in Libya.

The contract was for part of a $1.36 billion order Hyundai won from Libya in October, the builder said in a filing with the local stock exchange. It is set to ink a contract soon for another power plant it had agreed to build, Hyundai added. ($1=933.3 Won) (Reporting by Rhee So-eui; Editing by Sei Chong)
