SEOUL, Nov 10 (Reuters) - The following is a summary of major South Korean newspapers on Tuesday prepared by Reuters in Seoul. Reuters has not checked the stories and does not guarantee their accuracy.

DONGA ILBO

Military sources said on Monday 20 former Republic of Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command vice commanders made a formal request to the leaders of both countries to reconsider the command transfer scheduled for 2012.

The government released a report on Monday outlining measures to boost economic cooperation between South Korea and South America, including a South Korean support fund of 260 billion won ($225.2 million) to assist the development of countries such as Bolivia and Guatemala.

CHOSUN ILBO

The Blue House said Monday a new national intelligence tactics committee under President Lee Myung-bak would be launched on Tuesday, headed by the prime minister and a professor from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.

According to a high-ranking North Korean source on Monday, an edited video clip showing physical clashes in the South Korean National Assembly was shown to top North Korean officials in early October to criticise South Korea.
