Singapore's Keppel Corp wins $405 mln Scorpion contract
SINGAPORE, July 7 (Reuters) - Singapore rig-builder Keppel Corp (KPLM.SI) said on Monday that its unit Keppel FELS has won a contract from Norway's Scorpion Offshore (SCORE.OL) to build a deepwater semisubmersiblerig worth $405 million.
Upon its completion in the fourth quarter of 2011, the rig will be chartered by Scorpion to Brazilian national oil company Petrobras for a period of six years, Keppel said in a statement. (Reporting by Daryl Loo; Editing by Ovais Subhani)
