China Gezhouba wins $829 mln Libya housing project

SHANGHAI, April 1 (Reuters) - China Gezhouba Group Co (600068.SS) said on Tuesday it had signed an initial contract worth $829 million to build residential complexes in Libya.

The three-year deal calls for construction of housing projects on six areas located 120 to 260 kilometres from the Libyan capital Tripoli, the construction company said in a statement in the official Shanghai Securities News. (Reporting by Edmund Klamann in Shanghai; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
