S.Korea's LG Chem says battery plant on fire
SEOUL, March 3 (Reuters) - LG Chem (051910.KS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), South Korea's second-biggest battery maker, said on Monday that a fire has broken out at one of its largest battery plants in Seoul.
The blaze at the company's Ochang Techno-Park plant south of the capital started at around 7.30 p.m. local time (1030 GMT) and was yet to be completely put out, although it was under control, a company spokesman said.
