BHP's Petroleum chief says looking for acquisitions

MELBOURNE, May 13 (Reuters) - Head of BHP Billiton Ltd/Plc's (BHP.AX: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz)(BLT.L: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) petroleum division, Mike Yeager, said on Tuesday his division was looking for acquisitions in areas where it is already active.

He also said at a media briefing that the company has already achieved 10 percent growth in volumes so far this year and will be slightly above that by the end of the fiscal year in June. (Reporting by Sonali Paul)
