Babcock & Brown Power says has strong bank support
SYDNEY, May 23 (Reuters) - Australian power investment firm Babcock & Brown Power (BBP.AX) said on Friday it has had strong support from its banks over a debt refinancing, and its underlying assets are still performing well.
It said it has started discussions with unspecified parties on potential investment in some assets.
Shares in the company had tumbled on Thursday on uncertainty over the debt refinancing. (Reporting by Jonathan Standing)
