Japan Hokuriku to resume normal ops of nuclear unit

TOKYO, May 15 (Reuters) - Japanese utility Hokuriku Electric Power Co (9505.T) said on Thursday it would resume generating electricity at its 1,206-megawatt Shika No.2 nuclear generator at full capacity, after ending a trial operation on Wednesday evening.

The company said it was preparing to resume generating electricity and conduct an overall system check, though it didn't give a date for the resumption. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori)
