Malaysia Alam Maritim says no news on Petronas bids
KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Reuters) - Malaysian energy services firm, Alam Maritim Resources (ALMT.KL: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), has not received any confirmation on the outcome of its bids for contracts from state energy firm Petronas, the company said on Tuesday.
"To date, the company has yet to receive any confirmation of the outcome of the bids that it participated in," it said in a statement.
Alam Maritim was responding to a newspaper report that the company has secured a contract, worth as much as 1 billion ringgit ($312.9 million), from Petronas. ($1=3.196 Malaysian Ringgit) (Reporting by Jalil Hamid)
