HONG KONG, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Trading in shares of China's Ping An Insurance (2318.HK)(601318.SS) was suspended on Thursday, the Hong Kong exchange said.
No further details were immediately available.
The suspension followed news late on Tuesday that partially nationalised Fortis (FOR.AS)(FOR.BR) scrapped a 2.15 billion euro ($3 billion) deal to sell half of its asset management arm to Ping An.
