Seoul shares end 0.6 pct lower pressured by banks

Foreign investors bought a net 173 billion won worth of stocks. Retail investors picked up a net 184.8 billion won worth of shares.

Decliners led advancers 422 to 364, with 85 counters ending unchanged.

Trading volume stood at 270 million shares worth 3.6 trillion won, compared with Monday's 285 million shares worth 4.3 trillion won.

The KOSPI 200 December futures index KSc1 fell 1.25 points to 202.80 while the KOSPI 200 spot index .KS200 ended down 1.12 points at 203.13.

The junior Kosdaq market .KQ11 retreated 0.1 percent to finish at 478.76 points.
