SEOUL, July 7 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened lower on Monday continuing their downward run after seven straight losing sessions, with financials down on fresh credit worries after bearish comments by a U.S. brokerge, with easier oil lending little support.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index was down 0.65 percent to 1,567.68 points as of 0004 GMT.
