SEOUL, June 16 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened slightly higher on Monday helped by muted U.S. consumer price data and easier oil prices, which lifted Wall Street shares on Friday.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index was up 0.84 percent to 1,761.74 points as of 0002 GMT.
