Seoul shares open higher as banks, techs rally

SEOUL, July 14 (Reuters) - Seoul shares rose on Tuesday after posting the worst daily percentage loss in more than four months in the previous session, led by banks and technology issues and helped by rallies on Wall Street overnight.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was up 1.73 percent at 1,402.00 points as of 0004 GMT.
