Aim halts zinc mine work at Burkina Faso mine
SYDNEY, July 17 (Reuters) - Development of Burkina Faso's Perkoa zinc mine has been halted due to funding problems linked to depressed world zinc prices, its Australia-listed operator, Aim Resources AIM.AX said on Thursday.
Aim said in January it had an agreement to ship 45,000 tonnes of concentrate a year to Brazilian metals group Votorantim, once the mine was up and running. (Reporting by James Regan, Editing by Mark Bendeich)
