Rio: no impact on aluminium from alumina outage

SYDNEY, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Rio Tinto Ltd/Plc (RIO.AX)(RIO.L) will not suffer any loss to aluminium production due to an outage at its Yarwun alumina refinery in northern Australia, a company spokeswoman said on Friday.

The company also did not foresee declaring force majeure on shipments from the refinery as it performs repair work, she said.
