VARANUS ISLAND, Australia, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Apache Corp (APA.N) said on Wednesday it had not received any compensation claims from customers after a blast at its gas plant in western Australia disrupted supplies earlier this year.

"We haven't received any compensation claims from customers," Tim Wall, Managing Director of Apache Energy, the Australian arm of Apache, told reporters on a visit to the facility.

Apache declared force majeure on its gas supply contracts following the incident. (Reporting by Fayen Wong)
