BAGHDAD, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Iraq's Oil Ministry said on Thursday South Korean refiner SK Energy (096770.KS) had "expressed its willingness" to cancel contracts with the Kurdish Regional Government.

If the cancellation was announced publicly, Iraq would resume oil sales to the company, Oil Ministry spokesman Asim Jihad told Reuters. SK Energy is a member of a consortium developing the largely autonomous Kurdish region's Bazian oil field. (Reporting by Ahmed Rasheed, Writing by Mohammed Abbas: Editing by Sue Thomas)
