NEW YORK, July 13 (Reuters) - Alon (ALJ.N) said Monday the diesel hydrotreater at its 67,000 barrel-per-day Big Spring, Texas refinery was still running at reduced rates after a weekend power outage.

A spokesman said the repairs on the unit would likely be completed by next Sunday. The rest of the refinery was running at normal rates.

"It all started with a TXU power blip, outside the plant around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday," a spokesman said. "We had to slow down for a few hours and managed our way back to full operations in all units except for DHT."

He said the refinery would make unfinished diesel until the repairs on the unit were completed, at which point the unfinished diesel would be converted to finished diesel. (Reporting by Richard Valdmanis; Editing by John Picinich)
