KOGAS says to invest $1.42 bln in LNG facility

SEOUL, July 3 (Reuters) - State-run Korea Gas Corp (KOGAS) (036460.KS) said on Thursday it plans to invest 1.47 trillion won ($1.42 billion) in a local liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facility.

KOGAS said in a filing to the Korea Exchange that the investment would be made from Jan. 2009 to Dec. 2013. ($1=1036.7 Won) (Reporting by Cheon Jong-woo; Editing by Keiron Henderson)
