Stora Enso CFO says mkts remain challenging
HELSINKI, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Top European paper and board maker Stora Enso (STERV.HE) said on Wednesday its markets remain challenging and it would continue to focus on cutting costs.
"The outlook is exactly the same; challenging market, there is still overcapacity, and let's say visibility is still low," Stora Enso Chief Financial Officer Markus Rauramo told Reuters at an investment fair.
"There of course has been some improvement, but we are not anywhere close to the same levels where we were a year ago," Rauramo added.
Stora Enso in October reported better than forecast underlying third-quarter earnings, thanks to cost cuts, but said its market outlook remained gloomy and visibility poor.
